The BBC have revealed today the massive news that Nicola Sturgeon has had a makeover as it gets closer to voting day for the Independence Referendum. I wonder what Nigel Farage is doing to beautify himself?

Exclusive: Nigel Set To Come Save YI Chairman

Nigel Farage is booked to make an appearance at the YI conference in order to save the bacon of the organisations chairman, Jack Duffin. The YI Chairman has recently been under attack by his members for his dictatorial ways, many of them are asking for Duffin to resign.

If you look at the YI conference agenda, which recently had to be re-worked due to many MEPs pulling out, you can see there is a gap between 11:00 and 11:15. This could obviously be filled with Duffin giving a Nuremberg style speech to his loyal followers. But it is more likely that this slot has been reserved for someone special.

Speculation in YI has been growing about who will fill this TBC slot. Of course the obvious choice is Nigel Farage as he has been to many YI conferences before hand and is UKIP's charismatic leader. This has now been confirmed as true by one of #ThingsElliottSays' YI sources, this one in particular has links to the organising committee of the conference. The YI source said "Nigel is confirmed as coming to the YI conference. He will have to come and save Duffin's chairmanship as there is a lot of disquiet about him; not many are willing to speak out atm but this still feeds Duffin's paranoia. The blogs have put pressure on him too. If Nigel pulls out then it shows how much faith he has in Duffin. Zero."

#ThingsElliottSays has also heard from Cllr Sam Fletcher that there will be a protest organised outside of the YI conference. The protest will be made up of the usual UKIP haters but also crucially several ex-YI members. How many more of these people are likely to turn up now that they know Nigel Farage is coming? I wonder.

UKIPers Entice EDL and BNP support

In a move that surprised no one UKIP members have declared that they want BNP members and supporters of the EDL to join. UKIPs rhetoric against immigrants is clearly picking up all the xenophobes and racists. UKIP members from across the country have been discussing the future of their party and have decided UKIP 'Will Attract Most BNP Voters And Should Let Them Join'. I'm sure this will please Nigel Farage.

Brian Otridge, campaign manager for Ukip's North West Hampshire Branch, wrote: "BNP got 564,321 votes in GE2010 [General Election] and 943,598 in EE2009 [European Elections]. We should be picking up 50-75% of those now."

UKIP officially has a ban on BNP or EDL members joining the party. But members such as Cameron Needham, UKIP member in Wales, spoke of this BNP ban in UKIP "it's a bit harsh on people if their political ideologies to [sic] genuinely change".

UKIP members have also shown sympathies with the EDL.

Writing last August, a Ukip member from North Nottinghamshire who calls himself "NukeZilla" suggests that UKIP should reverse its ban on EDL members, praising them as "brave enough to stand up and speak out against criminals and a 2 tier system.

Marty Caine a Kipper from Poole agrees and praises the EDL for "protesting about something that I believe they are right to protest about". He then adds "We could certainly put those extra membership fees to some good use in the Party."

This information mostly comes from the Huffington Post who was given what was said on a private official UKIP forum by my YI source. Indeed my YI source has even got #ThingsElliottSays print screens of UKIPers reacting on the forum to the Huffington Post article.

#ThingsEllliottSays' YI source has sent him some of the reactions of UKIP members to #FletcherGate. Amongst them are some very homophobic statements such as the 'pinkoboe-news gets upset about people not embracing bum sex shock horror! What to do? Stand only homosexual candidates?'. Other  reactions include "normal bloke says normal blokeish things, jokes about gays... outrage in Pink News, that outrage picked up and magnified by the leftie Huff Post...then again by self righteous prigs both inside and outside of the party" and "it wasn't.. to anyone but readers of Gay News... who started the hue and cry. Some of you had better not ever work in factories or on building sites, you will faint at what is said by normal working people, and have to have a lie down after every joke." UKIP clearly has a strange idea of 'normal blokeish things'.

Most UKIPers however take issue with Cllr Fletcher over only one thing with many of them saying "wow, I can't believe him. He really thinks the NEC have policy making powers???". Its seems that even UKIP members realise the strength of the cult of personality of Nigel Farage.

Wonder how many UKIP Friends Cllr Fletcher will have after describing him as an 'idiot'.

Some other Kippers however blame Cllr Fletcher for the media storm he created saying "the idiot is detriment to UKIP and members". Other UKIP members have began to ask questions about Cllr Sam Fletcher like "I dont know where we find them but is there a returns policy?" and "Why defend the idiotic?". Looks like locally Cllr Fletcher's position of being a district council candidate may be reconsidered.

In other #FletcherGate news three more articles have gone up about the story in the local Telegraph and Argus, The Gay Courier and The People.

There has also been created a new Facebook page called Samuel Fletcher For Prime Minister. According to the page 'It's been a tough week for Samuel, but we're sure that with some courage and rubber trousers he'll make it to Number 10.' There are some very amusing photos on there.

Exclusive: UKIP Cllr in Embarrassing Adultery Scandal

In a Facebook post about Immigration Cllr Sam Fletcher, a UKIP Town Councillor for Keighley, has admitted to committing adultery. Sam Fletcher is the councillor for Bracken Bank and Ingrow Ward and also the West Yorkshire Officer for Young Independence (the UKIP youth movement).

This whole saga started out on a Facebook post about immigration.



Cllr Fletcher however turned the topic onto other things.

A very relevant and highly revealing point on Sam Fletcher's views on the link between immigration and homosexuality. The topic was then quickly changed again by Cllr Fletcher.

Interesting ideas on fungi. But then Cllr Fletcher brought this up all by himself.

When other people in shock asked whether he was having an affair he said this.









But then Cllr Fletcher became rather hypocritical and started talking about how he was not talking about morals. This is all despite him saying 'I do believe affairs are morally repugnant'.

Of the whole episode Cllr Fletcher said.

Not sure if that is true Samuel. But Cllr Fletcher did say that everything he said was sincere and truthful.



But just to finish up he said something which will really annoy Nigel.

So all in all Cllr Fletcher is someone who has some odd ideas about homosexuality, is derogatory to women, is a moral hypocrite and thinks Nigel Farage is 'leader of UKIP in name only' (hope you got that last bit Nigel). UKIP really picks the best councillors.

Also as an added point Cllr Fletcher has deleted many of his comments on the Facebook thread. All we know about these comments is they were highly inappropriate and caused some outrage as the holes are followed by 'OMGs' and disgust.

You'd think Farage wasn't into that sort of stuff with him sacking Olly Neville when he backed gay marriage. Maybe he is trying to hide a secret which Olly Neville was about to oust before he was sacked? My question to Olly is this, when did you tell Anna Soubry?

Conservatives Equal with Labour?

Everyone's talking about the ICM poll for the Gaurdian which puts the Tories on joint 36 with Labour and UKIP down to 7% (that's only 1% more than 2010). I'd be very wary of this result because it does look a bit out ICM generally shows low UKIP results and low Lab leads. But there is clearly something important in this.

ICM Poll has equal poll results for Labour and Conservatives first time in over a year.

The Conservatives are on the up. The economy is now starting to tip the right way, almost everyone can feel it now. Ernest and Young have come out today and said we will grow this year and the next and cut the deficit more than expected, which is good news. After a good budget, a spending review which has set the tone for the 2015 election and a Referendum Bill introduced there are many reasons for a lower Labour lead of late. Indeed the Conservatives are more united and happy about what is going on because everybody is content.

Dave is very happy with what is going on in the Conservative Party at the moment.

Contrast this to the Labour party who are all over themselves with spending, welfare and union membership. Ed Miliband has been shown to be 'weak, weak, weak' to coin a phrase. But to put the cherry on the rotten cake for Labour they are having policy problems, see image below.

I'd blame Nick too, especially if you want a coalition with him.

But what has happened to UKIP? The results for them are down. ICM had them at 22% in April, 18% in May and now 7% in June. Well for starters nobody is paying any attention to them because the national media isn't talking about them constantly. The EU referendum has also slightly helped because the Conservatives are now the only political party where you are guaranteed on getting a say if elected in 2015. This is of course linked to immigration as well because if there is vote out or a good amount of repatriation of powers we will have control of our borders.

Nigel has faced quite a slump, but what will the future hold?

But don't start to think of cheering. Summer always known as silly season in politics and odd things can happen. Ed Miliband has time to reflect on this last part of the year and could pull a shrewd move on the EU or big policy announcements that could increase the Labour lead. He actually needs to do this otherwise Labour will look so stranded that there will not be enough to win a majority in 2015. UKIP too will come back up. When we have to open our borders to Romania and Bulgaria there will be a surge in their popular support. The same will happen at the EU elections in 2014, I think they may even win that.

Don't start celebrating till the Conservatives are leading in the polls Summer next year and don't get the party started till May 2015.
